Gadles Farm Cottages Accessibility Statement

 

Gadles Farm Cottages consist of Foxglove Cottage and Pascoe’s cottage.

On arrival the cottage will be unlocked and we will be available to welcome you. Should we not be available or you are arriving late, arrangements will be made prior to your arrival.

The owners, Trevor and Julie Howe live on site in the farmhouse and can be contacted on 07970 009133, or trevor@gadlesfarmholidays.co.uk

Both cottages are adjoining each other with a shared car parking area (granite chipping surface)

A garden shed in the corner of the car park contains dustbins, recycling facilities, storage for gas BBQ, cushions for garden furniture and a selection of wellies for guests to borrow.

Both cottages have a patio area, and full gas central heating available all year as needed. All lighting is low energy with most being LED. Outside each cottage is an auto sensing  security light.

WiFi is available in both cottages, (Linkseys) no password is needed.

Both cottages have travel cots and high chairs available, Pascoe’s has a baby bath.

Both cottages have a patio, with a table, parasol and four chairs.

Both cottages are strictly no smoking, and no pets are allowed.

Bath and hand towels are provided as are kitchen towels, cleaning/washing materials             (Ecover)

Foxglove cottage is all on one level.  The front door enters the kitchen/living room, the door threshold is 50 mm high, we have wooden ramps available if needed. The door way is 780mm wide.

The kitchen area has cushion flooring, the lounge area has a fitted carpet. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob, electric kettle and toaster. There is a door (threshold 100mm) leading onto the patio which then leads onto the lawned area. ( Approx 25 x 15 metres)

All internal doors are 650mm wide.

The hall way and bedrooms are carpeted, bathrooms are tiled.

The double room has a 5 foot wooden bed with deep mattress. Also a wardrobe, chest of drawers with mirror, wall mounted mirror, chair and two bedside cupboards.

This room has an ensuite shower room, with a large walk in shower with a step of just 45mm. The shower has a fixed screen and three grab handles. (A stool and shower mat are available on request)

The second bedroom has twin 3 foot wooden beds with deep mattress’s. Also a 2.5 ft z bed is available in the room (or can be moved to the lounge area)

 

Pascoe’s Cottage traditional Cornish cottage, with a kitchen and lounge downstairs and two bedrooms and  shower room upstairs.

The main door (800mm wide) enters into the kitchen, which has cushion flooring.  The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob, electric kettle and toaster. There is a round wooden table with four wooden chairs.

A doorway to the lounge, which is carpeted, with a three seater sofa and a armchair, smart TV / DVD player, bookshelves with lots of books and information on enjoying your holiday in Cornwall. Coffee table, door to outside path to patio area. Wood burner, wood is supplied.

Stairs lead from the Kitchen, (carpeted). The double room has a 5 foot wooden bed with a deep mattress. A wash basin, twin bed side cupboards, chair, chest of drawers, mirror, wardrobe, over stairs cupboard and room for a travel cot.

Shower room with tiled floor, basin with light and shaver point over.

Second bedroom, 3 foot wooden bunk beds, over stairs cupboard, chest of drawers, stool.
